Test Results

When you take your test, you will be told how long it will take before the results are returned to the practice.  To obtain your results, please telephone the surgery on 02476 227 234.  Since our telephone lines are very busy in the morning, we ask you to telephone us for test results (i.e. bloods, scans, etc.) between 12.00pm and 6.00 pm. 

Complete this online form to request test results.

Did you know you can view your results on your NHS App? All you need to do is download and register! If the GP has reviewed the results, you can see what comment they have left as well as its exact readings and even trends since your previous test!

To ensure confidentiality, we release results only to the patient, unless alternative arrangements were agreed in writing. 

We cannot always give full results over the phone. If the result requires further discussion, we will offer you an appointment.

Please remember that we cannot contact all patients regarding their results and that it is essential that, few days after the tests are carried out, you contact us to seek out the results.

Cervical Smears

You will be informed of the result of your cervical smear within six weeks of the test being performed. If you have not heard about the results within eight weeks, please contact the surgery.
